The war in Ukraine may look like caused due to "conflict" between Russia and Ukraine. However, that's not the roots nor it is about "conflict" leading to "chapter 2" of Putin's eight years long desire to have whole Ukraine under his control. 

"Chapter 2" didn't even start in Russia, not even in Ukraine. It all began in Belarus after the "presidential elections" held in August 2020, which Lukashenko, already in power since the 1990's, claimed to have won (again). But, he only dragged the whole country for the first time against him. In response to the nationwide protest, Lukashenko unleashed an unprecedented crackdown. Tens of thousands of protesters were arrested, and an unknown number were killed.

However, the issue remains an political uprising by the people in the country of Belarus.
